Mathematics Teacher
St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School (www.sasweb.org) seeks an energetic mathematics teacher with the skills and desire to inspire students in their academic pursuits. The ideal candidate will cultivate an active classroom and delight in working with middle school and upper school students. The position begins in August 2026.
This is a 10-month, full-time position. Outstanding candidates will be self-directed and have a generally upbeat and enthusiastic disposition, and enjoy working with adolescents and adults in fostering lives of challenge, balance, and joy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants with prior teaching experience, boarding school experience, the ability to coach a sport (especially basketball or mountain biking), and/or experience with outdoor education will be given special consideration.
COMPENSATION: This is a 10-month, full-time position with an expectation of some, but limited, availability in the summer. Salary is dependent on education and experience. Campus housing may be provided.
