High School Science Teacher
Ensworth School seeks a dynamic and intellectually engaging science educator to join its high school faculty. Strong candidates will have demonstrated the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse student body and to collaborate with colleagues across academic disciplines. A love for teaching high school students is essential to this position, as are the abilities to align teaching and learning to Ensworth’s Core Skills Framework. Ideal candidates will have flexibility in teaching introductory chemistry for freshmen, introductory physics (mechanics only) and integrated science for sophomores, and upper level electives. The capacity to adapt to new technologies and create experiential, inquiry-based learning opportunities are equally important. Experience employing Argument-Driven Inquiry style labs is a plus.
