Fourth Grade Teacher

Job Summary 

Oak Hill School seeks a creative and collaborative teacher for fourth grade.

Responsibilities

• Teaching social studies with a writing emphasis
• Serve as a homeroom teacher
• Lead morning meeting sessions to build on social and emotional learning
• Supervise and provide learning support for students
• Help students during study hall 
• Collaborate on grade-level and subject-matter teams
• Participate in class outings and overnights
• Design and teach innovative lessons that differentiate for a variety of  learning styles.

• An enthusiasm for relationship building with students, colleagues, and parents
• Prompt and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Educational Background and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Prior teaching experience is preferred
