Upper School Mathematics Teacher

Fayette Academy seeks an Upper School Mathematics teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree and mathematics majors are preferred

The successful candidate will possess skills and experience that would include the ability and desire to:

• teach upper level mathematics courses, including but not limited to introduction to college algebra and precalculus;
• collaborate within their department to analyze, develop, and strengthen curriculum;
• create engaging lessons and utilize various formative and summative assessments to gauge student understanding and provide timely, constructive feedback to students;
• communicate proactively with parents/guardians regarding student progress;
• serve as a student advisor for a small group of students;
• be a supportive member of the school community.
